Do you really need to buy ‘new’ clothes to look nice and stylish?
As mentioned in my last post, sustainability became an important topic for me. Not only concerning fashion, but also in my daily life.
That is the reason why I am going to show you a look which includes some second-hand pieces.
The golden pants by Prada and the jeans blouse by Isabel Marant are both second-hand. While I was walking in the second-hand store, I could not believe my own eyes because there were so many beautiful clothes.
I decided to wear these gold sandals by Nicholas Kirkwood because I wanted them to match my gold pants by Prada.
To pimp it up I went for gold accessories: vintage styled parrot earrings by Erdem. The accessories for the hair are all by Bijou Brigitte and part of the latest collection.
As you can see I also wore this transparent bag with gold and silver chains by Fendi.
What is your opinion on this outfit rrefering to the question in the beginning?
Do you really need ‘new’ clothes all the time? Or is it possible to style an outfit with clothes that are not part of the latest collection and once were owned by someone else?
I think that buying second-hand is a great opportunity, regarding the environment and the retail sector. And it is even cheaper. So why not?
This is it for today! I hope that I could inspire some of you to visit a vintage/ second-hand store on your upcoming shopping trip.
We will see us in a few days with a new look.
