black is back

I am back in the game too - with a new website!

As you might have already noticed, it has been a while since I last blogged.

The reason for this is that I had some health problems, which made me realise that I have to make a lifestyle change. So, I pulled the ripcord and took a hiatus from work. It has been the first time in my blog history, that I have not published any articles for three months.

But sometimes less is more…

Fresh and highly motivated, I started to work again and the first thing I wanted to do, was to sort out my wardrobe, since it was long overdue.

This summer, I increasingly resorted to colourful clothing and I’m guessing you have also all  experienced the feeling, when you get to sort out your wardrobe after a long time and realise, “Oh my gosh, I really need to make it calmer and more organised“. Which leads us to this year’s Autumn trend: The monochrome look, which is finally back. No matter if you dress in white from head to toe, or completely in black, the monochrome look is always an elegant decision for every kind of event. I will definitely wear this look more often.

But now, it’s time to have a closer look at my latest outfit:

During the day, I wore a black cropped top from Zara and my current favourite jeans. It is a pair of washed out jeans, designed by Nili Lotan. She is a born Israeli, who studied engineering and fashion design in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Since 1980, she has been living in New York, notching up major successes. She has earned many fans with her timeless and luxurious fashion and for quite some time, I have been a fan too.

In case you don’t own the perfect pair of black jeans, I recommend you go and get your hands on some. Black Jeans are a major trend in the coming season.

Since it was a cool evening, I carried my olive green belted down coat from Holubar with me. This coat was the ideal companion.

The outfit was rounded off with the “naked sandals“ with its typical ankle strap by Aquazzura and the prominent bag pocket by Maison Mollerus.

For quick access to my phone, I popped it in my belt pouch by MaxMara, which I snapped up some time ago.

I hope you enjoyed my latest look! Check out my blog next Saturday, in order not to miss a blogpost. Wish you all a nice and successful week.
