Gittabanko.com has state-of-the-art security server software with SSL encryption, which protects your card data against eavesdropping and manipulation during transmission.
The order amount is held on your card as a payment reservation until the order is either dispatched (then the amount is booked) or the order is canceled (then the amount is released again).
Payment with Visa or Mastercard
The system checks whether the credit card or debit card participates in the 3-D security programs Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode. These are security procedures specially developed for these types of cards, which check whether the legitimate cardholder and the legitimate online merchant are actually taking part in a transaction. If a credit card holder is registered with the 3-D Secure procedure using one of the registration methods, an additional query mask opens after entering the card data, which is connected to your bank and there you also have to enter the "Secure Code" (a password you have chosen ) asks. The transaction can only be carried out with the correct password.

Payment with American Express:

The system checks whether the delivery address specified in the order is identical to the address stored as the billing address at American Express (Amex address verification system, "AVS" for short). If the addresses do not match, you will be asked in a separate email to have the different delivery address stored with American Express. Your delivery will only be sent after successful authentication.
For all credit card or debit card payments: Return credits will always be credited back to the credit card used for the purchase.

PAYMENT WITH PAYPAL:

Pay quickly and securely - select the PayPal payment option at checkout and you will be automatically redirected to the PayPal page where you your personal login data enter and complete the payment . A refund in the event of a return will be made back to your PayPal account.

PAYMENT BY SOFORT TRANSFER:

SOFORT transfer is a direct transfer method and allows you to pay quickly and without additional registration.
All you need is a bank account and online banking access.
Select "SOFORT Banking" in the "Payment" order step. You will then be forwarded to the secure SOFORT payment form and release the automatically completed transfer slip using your usual online banking data. After the encrypted transmission, your successful payment is usually confirmed a few moments later.
Any transfer costs and bank charges are to be borne by the customer.
Credit from returns will only be credited back to the bank account that paid for the original order.

PAYMENT IN ADVANCE:

Select the "Payment in advance" option as the payment method and complete the order.
You will then receive an order confirmation by e-mail containing our bank details and your order number.
After receiving the order confirmation, please transfer the total amount to our account within 48 hours. So that we can process your payment immediately, please enter your order number as reference.

If you have a voucher code, you can enter it in the field provided during the ordering process. Immediately after entering your total amount will be updated. If the amount of your voucher is higher than the purchase value, the remaining amount will automatically remain active and you can enter the same code with your next purchase.
